When you send a text, do you send one big one or lots of little ones?

Lots of little ones. I don't take the time, I'm not a big typer. I'm more of a 'pick up the phone and call' kind of guy.

Who has been your toughest rival this year?

Hmm... Myself! It changes, I would say no one in particular. I think it's a very tight middle field and every race it's a bit different.

Have you ever had any crashes outside of racing?

Like in a road car? Yeah

I did once, I was a passenger and someone in the on coming lane came over into our lane and we actually had a head on crash, it was quite a big crash and scary too.

Did you pass your driving test first time?

I did, first time! I was really happy about that, a very proud moment. I was a bit nervous to be honest.

What's your favourite dinner and pudding?

My favourite dinner would be a steak dinner with red wine and a good table of friends. And pudding, that's like an English thing? Dessert. Dessert... chocolate cake or something, can't go wrong!

If you could choose any F1 driver old or new to be your teammate, who would it be?

Felipe is a good guy, a good teammate, I'm pretty happy.

Does your car have a booster to make it go faster, and when you go really fast does fire come out the back?

It has a DRS button. No it doesn't have fire, I wish it did though, we could use a bit of a fire boost!

Who fixes your car if it breaks?

My mechanics, Ed, Patrick, Tio, Gorka, a big group of guys and they fix it if it breaks down.

Do you have a lucky charm?

Do I have a lucky charm? No, to be honest I'm not too superstitious with things like that.

Do you always get in your car from a certain side? 

No, nothing like that, it's more wearing a pair of boxers on Sunday.

What is your shoe size?

I'm 11 US, so 44 EU and 10 UK.

Does it get confusing being in lots of different time zones?

It can be, but I'm a good sleeper, so when it's time to sleep, I sleep.

Which 4 other drivers would you choose to go in an F1 boyband with you?

Ricciardo, Kimi, I'd like to hear Kimi sing!! Lewis to bring the talent to the band.

Wehrlein's a drummer, did you know that? So Wehrlein, perfect! Ric could play guitar, Lewis could sing, NO! Kimi could sing! Lewis to pose and Wehrlein on drums, works for me!

If you weren't a racing driver what job did you want to do?

 That's a tough question, um....I'd probably be in University figuring it out now. That's a tough one, I don't know.

Did you always like F1 and watch it when you were little or was there another sport you liked to watch?

Yeah, I grew up always watching a bit of F1. But I've always been into sports. I love golf, I love tennis, mountain biking, surfing, all that stuff, I've always been a big sports person.

Do you have a name for your car?

I do not, no. I need to come up with one, it's taking a bit of time.

You could name it after me, Eddie! No, it has to be a girl! Edwina!!
